Overview

Momentra is a minimal art gallery built around the idea that the work should do the talking. The interface steps back so the photography can take the foreground, with typography and motion used as quiet supporting characters rather than decoration.

Built with vanilla JavaScript and SCSS — no framework, no runtime overhead. Pages load fast on slow networks, imagery streams in progressively, and a focus mode lets viewers read the artist's note alongside each piece without breaking the flow.

Custom scroll-driven animations, lazy-loaded imagery, and an accessibility-first navigation pattern that works equally well for keyboard, mouse, and touch.
